expansion on my nightwing idea. slightly different colours too because even though i referred to the original drawing, i forgot how i coloured it :/

anyway. more mask means more face is hidden and improved anonymity and more gadgets, like alternate vision modes.

also, if youre gonna call yourself nightWING, you should have some kinda wing-y aspect. so why not some glider wings like batman beyond, that fold up like a backpack.

backpack also a place to keep his thug beating sticks when not in use. idea would be they'd pop out when he reaches back for him. so so im not completely ripping off aqualad from YJ who is super awesome.

Dude, this costume should be utilized for the comics, YJ cartoon, and live action anything. It is so awesome. Now, I can't picture Nightwing in anything but this. It's so cool! It totally reminds me of the Nolanverse Batsuit. Only cooler

I always preferred the long haired version of Nightwing compared to the short haired version, but it's not my design so i don't care. The design seems reminiscent of the Nolan Batman movies, which is great overall. I'd like to see this completed (with the legs XD) but other than that this is a really good pic. Sweet job.

ever since ive had it pointed it out to me, i just cant get behind long hair. its just not practical. at least not with the kind of mask nightwing wears.

if he had a cowl like batman/red robin then okay.

I dig yer design. A lot of the things I'd attack if redesigning or updating him.
But the wing aspect has always been there. Nightwing has similar wings to the Silverhawks that pop out in between his arms when he needs em.
Other than that, you're definitely dooin a great job re-thinkin these guys.
